I would suggest that you get the mistake corrected. It shouldnt be a big deal getting it corrected. But if you just ignore it, there is a possibility of you getting some unnecessary delays in the future during renewal. I would fix the mistake now, to avoid any issues in the future.

If you fly, they will take your I-94 and give you a new one upon entering. If you drive then you dont have to give your I-94. Other than that I think it is pretty much the same. So my suggestion would be to do whichever is convenient for you.
