H-1B approved! But ...

BertoltBrecht

Registered Users (C)
Hi,

My H-1B visa has been approved today! :)

But they used my name wrong. Just a typo in my last name. My last name is like "Brecht" they used "Brekht".

Do you think this is an important issue?

I would suggest that you get the mistake corrected. It shouldnt be a big deal getting it corrected. But if you just ignore it, there is a possibility of you getting some unnecessary delays in the future during renewal. I would fix the mistake now, to avoid any issues in the future.

I got my H1B approval with correct name.

I have an appointment at 3rd August to get my H1B and H4 for my wife and son in Münich Germany.

Any tip?

:)
