Guys, My I-140, applied concurrenlty with RD of Feb 11, 2004 was approved on Aug 27. I got an email notification about it from USCIS-CSSO yesterday. No changes on my I-485 though.

Infopass Has anyone used InfoPass to schedule an in-person appointment with a USCIS officer for clairifications on I-140 portability under AC21?

You are right iknowitall. But this looks like a real test of patience. I wonder how cocktail's case is different than ours. Does cocktail's 140 approval indicate that cases filed around Feb.12th are being considered now? I hope thats the way it is :) . I am tending towards wishful...

You are right, Elnegro. AC21 is useless with the implementation of the new Fujie Ohata memo. As fellow forum-members have rightly pointed out earlier in other threads; whats the point in spending time, money and effort for EAD and AP application when I140 wont be approved until I485 is ready...

Checked with USCIS about unchaged web-site status related to the FP report. Answer was, USCIS rarely sends emails or updates the web-site with FP report information. :confused: :confused: :confused:

I called 304 625 5590. There was a live person and there was no hold time. She just asked for my alien number and first and last name, to get my information. The other number is 304 625 2406. If I remember correct their office hours are 8:00AM to 5:30PM (Mon-Fri).

I just called the FBI number and found out that the FBI had sent my report back to USCIS the very same day I had gotten finger printed. But the USCIS web-site does not show any updates on that. I wonder why? I was finger printed on Apr. 29th 2004.

dmus/abt/rajendr, What is that FP email from USCIS about? Is that email sent after the FBI investigation, indicating that the USCIS has received the FBI report. Or is it just a notification of the fact that the finger prints were taken at a certain center and the USCIS has received them...
