Its a million dollar question for me , any of you guys have any input on this ?:)

When will see the first approvals for concurrently filed cases in 2004 ? Will we be a part of the popular " Ohata Memo" ? Will our cases be adjudicated concurrently ? Will we see any approvals for 140 or both 140/485 filed concurrently in the next few months ? Whats going to happen ????????????????????

Please comment.

interesting

does look like a concurrent approval after the rfes or whatever. they did approve the 485 in 2 days after 140, very interesting and pleasing. its VSC though and not NSC. hopefully NSC will follow suit. I hope things are changing.

Pls Track The Applications

I would request people to put all their filing dates / EAD dates and FP dates (Atleast approximate times so that we can track them down

My application was filed
mid March 2004
140/485 concurrent filing nebraska
I got my EAD and FP was done mid may.
I am waiting for I 140 / 485 approval

Here are my I 140/485 filing details.
I-140/485 (EB3) concurrent filing from NSC
RD: 01/20/2004
ND: 01/22/2004

Any new 140 approvals at all in NSC ?

Guys

Any new 140 approvals at all in NSC ? concurrent or nonconcurrent. Is the boat moving at all at NSC or they just putting up meaningless processing dates on their website ?

Please let us know.

Check this http://www.aila.org/newsViewer.aspx?bc=273&docID=13412

NSC advises that the wrong dates were provided on the 6/15/04 Processing Time Report for I-140 skilled and unskilled workers. The 7/1 report should be out shortly. In the meantime, please use the dates from the 6/1/04 report for these two categories.

My Case completely different

Dear Friends,

I want let all of you know sometimes this can happen. My I-140 Notice date Feb 5, 2004. I and my wife I-485, I-765 and I-131 notice date March 5, 2004. My employer received I-140 RFE on March 15, 2004. Till then my case is on HOLD status. I did receive finger print notice.

First fingerprint is done on June 7, 2004. On june 15, 2004 finger print results received message updated on USCIS portpolio.

After completion of 90 days I went to USCIS local office to ask for Interim EAD. One officer told me to come after I-140 RFE submit to the USCIS. on June 14, 2004 I visited again to the local office (my employer submitted the I-140 RFE on June 5, 2004). My Employer replied I-140 RFE. USCIS received on June 8, 2004. It is updated on my profile on June 9, 2004.This time same officer told me to contact Nebraska Service Center. Because it on HOLD status he can't help me.

On June 14, 2004 I called USCIS and they took all the details and they said I'll hear from them within 30 days. on June 25, 2004 I received a letter from USCIS saying my case is on hold waiting for approval of I-140!!!. Can someone tell me Is my case is belong to new rule. My attorney said new rule effect from March 29, 2004 since my application RD is March 5, 2004 it will not come under new rule.

so the NSC does it again

i think i am going to stop believing and trusting anything i read about the 140/485 approvals . these guys at these centers are not real. wonder where they came up with these dates in the first place, there are people waiting since october and november , how could they publish processing dates for may and june 2004. No offense but i think they are full of s**t.

In same boat!!!

Guys, Count me in... I am in the same boat.
My particulars are as follows:
Concurrent filing:
I-140 RD 03-01-2004 and ND 03-02-2004
I-485 RD 03-19-2004 and ND 03-22-2004
EAD 05-26-2004
AP 06-01-2004
FP ??

From all that happened,looks like
1.NSC will clear all I-140's with RFE and filed non-concurrently
before looking at the con-currently filed applications.

2.NSC will try to clear a reasonable backog of 485's before moving
to approving concurrently filed applications. They will meanwhile streamline there resources for approving concurrently filed applications. My prediction is that we will start seeing cocurrent approvals around starting of September.

3.My exxperience with NSC makes me believethat NSC starts concurrent applications ,I think its going to pour.

4.Meanwhile everybody, one and sundry will get FP NOTICES as NSC preapres itself to take the plunge.

Anybody has other views????

You're correct GCBAND. We may not see more posting here from "2001 /2002 group", but they're getting approved everyday. My prediction is, we will start seeing concurrent approvals starting August ( mostly people waiting from May 2003)

i guess that path is a possibility , the only thing i guess if concurrent applications will take so long they should come up with a new ac21 rule which says u can still change jobs whether or not 140 is approved. by the way clarifications on the AC21 rule are expected during the summer as was noted in the AILA meeting in june.
