me too. Passport stamping: 08/12/04. Card ordered: 09/09/04, both mine and my son's. all in houston office. meanwhile, my wife's 485 got approved in 09/09/04 which is a little bit over one month later.

yes, you can. for me, the local INS office listed in 485 approval letter is South Portland, ME, but I got my passport stamped in Houston, TX.

Got RFE in 07/01/04 for Employment Letter. sent out RFE in 07/27/04. RFE received in 07/30/04 from the online status message: On July 30, 2004, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. It is taking between 850 and 900 days for us to process this kind of case...

FP was done in 06/27/03. I also found my 485 LUD changed to 07/02/04 as 140's.
