Hi Guys , just thought of updating this thread ... My wife went for H4 stamping this week and she got stamped ...The interesting thing is she got the same counsellor who refused our visa in the first place . This time this guy just looked at the documents and didnt asked even basic questions...

I dont know your personal reasons , but i will suggest having the baby in US , that will clear all issues.

I am not sure about this but i think if you give your SSN or federal tax id that merchant account company may report the earning to the IRS ,so this means you will have tax liability

Generally speaking a H1B cannot do business activities other than his primary job , this includes accepting payments also.

Davh , i am not sure but according to a new rule i think that for F1's the H1B visa will not come under the normal quota

Joe , you cannot even compare this to murder because in this case its not completely illegal if you can prove (in the rare case INS found it out) that you were not actively working but was a mere passive investor you may be able to get out !
