    Stamping in Detroit - VCS case??

    Hi all, My case is filed in Boston with Vermont Service Center. I got 485 approved 2 weeks back. Is that ok if I go for stamping in Detroit (local office) which comes under NSC? Do they accept in Detroit? Will it affect the GC process? Any suggestions please... Thanks.

    Hi all, My ND is April 2002. I called USCIS to find if anything going on with my case, but heard that he cannot access my personal file but can issue a stutus enquiry to the Boston office, where I filed my 485. According to him, if enquiry is issued, I will be hearing from Boston office...

    Yes,from my experience you have to. If its emergency u have to provide some letters from doctors etc. if its normal visist, u should have a letter stating why u are applying for AP. Anyway verify from others too....
