I concur with Alren. Although, when you get the welcome letter, it will have the number that you can track for plastic card.

Guys Thanks for your reply. They are here on visitor visa. My problem is I want to do their AOS while they are here, rather than going back and get it done all there in India. But can we do that ? if yes, then what is the process ? do we have to notify NVC to not transfer the case to Mumbai...

Kulkven I agree with RAju. Same thing happened with me. Mine came first and my wife's came after 3-4 days. It could even take more day or less in your case. Even more funny in my case was We received the plastic card first and welcome letters came (Total - 3 for each of us) after 10 days...

I guess you have to be lucky for that to happen. I would say it's fair to assume that you would get your interview the month after your interview in december providing your case is entered in october. There are cases when you get the interview very next month after your case is entered...

VM, After going thru such hell of a process of GC, you just want to make sure that you're not missing our on something in the end. I think after going thru this GC process, I'm just being more cautious on everything ....

Sanjay: It does not do any harm in writing it. I have seen so many people do not write it, however, I did write it in Hindi. To answer your question, yes you ahve to write it in Hindi. Don't worry much about these things.

I think it should be okay ..but just keep yourself ready for an answer, just in case if they raise this question. If it all they compare your current salary then it would be with your labor application. So I guess you need not to be worried. If they ask you can keep a copy of your labor...

I have also not received mine ..POE on 22nd July .. I have also not received my replacement SS card. Also have not received my wife's ss card. I called SS office and they said that I do not see one mailed to you .. May be they are not able to see our A# in the system yet ..
