longGC, you need to turn off the pop-up stopper for your browser. There is a pop-up window with the terms and conditions which you need to click "accept" then the window disappears and the main window would allow you to proceed.

I just checked the immigration.gov website. You can create a "customer" account and add case numbers to the profile. Email notice can be turned on. If it works as they claimed, there is no need to set up any scripts!
