Filed Labor around 4 years ago.

Got the approval notice today.
Life is good.
My finger prints had expired for more than
six months, so after repeated inquiries got
a notice and did FP2 on 23rd Feb.
That was EB2/RIR
This is a great forum. Thanks to all.

2nd FP notices received
Guys, I sent a fax to Barbara Boxer's office regarding scheduling my second
finger prints (which USCIS had conviniently forgotten to send me after the
first set expired more than 6 months ago). Barbara's office did follow up with
an inquiry and kept me updated about...
I'm waiting for FP2 as well. I got this reply to my Division XII email
inquiry:
---
The applicants will be receiving an appointment notice for a fingerprint
within
the next 120 days, depending on the schedule for the applicant's particular
ASC.
If you have not received any notice...
Congratulations, zoro,
Could you point me to the contact info of Mike Honda (fax #, phone #)
Did you communicate with him via fax? or on the phone?
Thanks,
Oz
RFE for WAC03140, AOS
I got an RFE sometime last week for W2's and a biography form that was
not completely filled in. I sent the docs to my lawyer late last week, so
hopefully the RFE reply will be posted this week.
Only catch is that my fingerprinting was done on May 15th 2003, and
was...
I'v been on this board for quite a while and I haven't seen
any indications that 'sequential' filing is faster than concurrent.
Unless you are going with consular processing, I would
recommend you file 485 asap. Among other reasons, this would
start your 'clock' on your 485, and once you...

Plenty of information is not equal to the right information. I was just seeking opinions/experiences of people who have been in this situation by choice or by compulsion.
I thought thats what this message board is for.
Cheers,

I have my I-485 pending with CSC since April '03. I am a resident
of the Bay Area. Does AC21 allow me to change my job and
relocate to a different location in the country ? Would I in this case
have to restart my GC application from scratch ?
Thanks in advance,
Oz

processing times:
I-140D : 2 weeks - 6 months
EAD : 3 -4 months
AP : 3 -4 months
485 : 2+ years
EAD/AP may be approved before the I140 is but you may
only use it to change your job 6 months from filing 485
or your I140 is approved, whichever comes later...
I-140 RFEs depend on your application, rather than wheather you
did concurrent filing or not. I have been on this board quite a
while now, and I have seen that RFEs are usually given for
company financials, job descriptions etc. RFEs are usually more
common in substitution labor cases, for...

Portability is based in I-140 approval + I-485 pending for 180+
days. EAD can be received before I-140 approval, but using
AC-21 (the portability law) requires that I-140 has been
approved. Hence the EAD may not be used to change your job
unless the I-140 is approved _and_ it's...
