Docs to be carried if only stamped and no plastic cards Plase take the 485 approval letters if you have not received the plastic cards. We were asked for this letter in Mumbai, India. In USA they did not ask for this letter, just the stamp on the passport was sufficient.

We (primary and secondary applicants) received the plastic cards in Oct. We were on vacation in India at that time. Our approval and stamping dates are in July 2003. (RD Jan 2002) Stamping was done in Dallas, TX.

Current processing date is Sep 15 2002 (not 2001) !!! I think it is a mistake (very pleasant one though) !!! Mangesh_kk, Last time also it was same (Sep 15 2001). There is no change. It there anything special in offcial relase which I'm missing?
