Ayoblack,
Thank you very much. I have got most of the documents. I am supposed to get a police clearnce from three countries. as of now, I can only get from two of them. The third one gave me a very long appointment and if I had to wait for that it means I had to reschedule my interview...
That is so great. You must have been one of the luckiest person on earth. I will have mine tomorrow in london. So, you can imagine the pressure - i am a bit tensed now, but God is great!

Congrat USAHolic,
I will have my interview next week in London, and will keep you all informed of the result. In the meantime, I am not sure of the photo type: can ordinary passport size do good or it should be of the usual size we are asked to send in when we filled and sent the original...
Shall I re-schedule my interview?
Dear all I need your help:
I am supposed to have interview in London, and just learned that my interview is scheduled in three or so weeks time. One of the countries from which I need to get a police clearance told me I can only get it in 45 working days...
Nurberg,
I am in a similar circumstance. Obtaining a police certificate from Ethiopia is really tough; I should rather say a hell. You need to submit the application in person or through someone who has your legal representation and is a resident of Ethiopia. If you have such a person, or can...
Hello forum mates,
hope all is well. the room has been getting quieter and quieter these days. Please lets give the room a life
Wish the best to those who will have their interview soon

cov,

Thanks asss.
I have no further backing paper on the old passport, not even its photocopy. All I have is the reciept. I thought they may need it to check all the countries I have travelled to. Do you guys think it is good idea to ask the embassy in advance if I am supposed to produce the old...
Congrats! Am happy for you. Many thanks for sharing this helpful information, as I will have my interivew in London too.
May the good news keep on pouring from interviews in London and of course other parts!
lome
asss,
I am freaking out here once I saw your post, as I do not have an old passport with me.
I had an other passport, which was a service passport and normally had to be returned the country's ministry of foreign affairs upon return from abroad. I was with that passport in another...

Hi all,
I am one of the lucky winners of DV2010, waiting for interview in couple of months. I lived in India for a year, which means I need a police certificate. However, I am currently living in Europe, and it says poilice certificate is not issued for...
Congrat Gintte,
