You might have not needed a lawyer, but who knows maybe you would have made a mistake somewhere or it just gives a better fealing. I dont think it was a waste. I had a lawyer for AOS and he filed everything, send me copies, came to the Interview... I am sure I could have done it without himand...

Well, isnt that what he said-a one year extension for the gc? If you have the letter and the expired green card, it is as having the green card thats still valid for another year.

You have to wait for your biometrics appointment letter to check your status online. You cant do it with the 1 year extension letter. Yes, it is normal to get a 1 year extension, sounds all good. Just have to wait.

It was on one of the letters that I still had, back from when I applied for adjustment of status.

I am so confused. After reading the above mail, I checked my I-130 status. First of all why is my I-130 from two years ago updated when it was already approved? Then, it was updated a couple days before my I-751 was send in. Is that normal?

I saw somebody writing that they got LUD on I-130 for their I-751, what does that mean? Is their something else I need to check, because when I check it just tells me about Cr89 or something.

When you guys check your online status, does it say case received and pending? Just wondering if thats the same for all, after I am not getting any LUD`s.

Can you be stuck in a check for any visa application or just certain ones?

I got a question, but wasnt really sure where and if necessary to ask. I just found out that I am pregnant, do I need to let them know, since I already filed, I figured I dont really need to. So, just wanted to make sure.

Hopefully, I really was hoping to be approved before August. I guess it has a lot to do with luck. I just dont want to be stuck in a namecheck, I just read through the namecheck posts and it seems to take forever.
