As I mention in my earlier post, we didn't have any complicating issue with our application. If you're case is not that complicating, I would not take the attorney with you. Let's say your attorney's billing you $250 an hour. You're not going to get to an interview right away when you arrive...

How did the interview go --- My husband (USC) and I (H1B) got to Garden City at around 12:15, went through security. We were led to a open room with people waiting. Told to get to Window #1. The man asked for my appointment letter and wait in the back. Our wait here was about 20-30 minutes...

I am happy to report that I was approved at the interview today.

GodisGoodtome, my RFE?RFI? had to do with I864 Affidavit of Support. I forgot to include income tax return plus W2, 1099. As soon as I sent them to Lee's Summit (where the National Benefits Center resides), my case resumed. HTH.

Evening, I just got my Interview Letter and I share the sentiment with Nintye -- I would love to hear your experiences. Hopefully it will calm my nerves. And also, what is the significance of getting your passport stamped? I read that in few threads and am clueless. :confused::confused...

Hi I just updated my timeline -- interview on 12/3!

I am in the exactly the same predicament with EAD/AP, awaiting Interview Letter and I-130 still not showing up online.

I got 2 APs too. Weird :eek: My EAD card production was ordered October 3. I hope we both get our Interview letters soon. Best of luck!

AP arrived -- from Lee's Summit where the National Benefits Center is. :) So, now I await for EAD and I am all set --- well, until the Interview Ltr. Any idea when I should be receiving that letter??? :confused:

My LUD mentioned that my AP was mailed on Sept. 28 and today is already October 7! I know I should just hold on tight and it will surely arrive safely but I hate waiting :( Who's with me on this ??:(:(:(:(

Yeah, W2s because we also wrote down my income and I forgot to send my income tax return, W2, 1099 also. It's 1 year with 2 more years optional I think. HTH.
