What kinda case do you have? Married to USC?
I ask because if your husband is a USC then you were supposed to send the medical examination form with the rest of the applications.
It doesn't matter what state you pick for the doctor, as long as he/she is in the list of authorized doctors...
From the day they received your application, stamped it and sent you a receipt, you stopped being an F-1. Now your status is 'pending AOS'. So none of the rules about F-1 apply to your situation anymore... including OPT. Optional Practical training is offered to F-1 students only, you need to...
I just decided to change my last name as soon as I got married so I could have all the documents under my new last name. I just didn't want to go through getting another card after a name change. It seems easier (based on posts I've read in this forum) to change your passport, license, credit...
I decided not to get one and wait till I become a USC, I remember the guy saying something that you can only get like 4 cards in your life time, I've gotten 2 already so I wanna keep my other 2 just in case I missplace it or something.

Thanks for your responses!

I was thinking of getting a new passport but I didn't want to pay $100 again, especially since I just got a new...

then when I went to change my last name they needed to see...
I have my residency card under my married name but my passport is still with my maiden name. It doesn't expire for another 5 years so I was wondering what kind of documentations to bring with me. I don't know if they will bother me because of the name difference.
Thanks!
At least you guys were able to wait!!! There were some times when I called ( I needed to update our address) and I got a message saying something like "all our reps are busy and we expect that you'll have to wait more than X minutes so please call back"
