Did you try calling the National Passport Information Center at 1-877-487-2778 to receive information regarding your application? I'd suggest you call them instead of waiting for your check to clear.

At least I finally got it.. :) It all was not all too bad after all.... :)

So after I came and brought my naturalization cert for the second time it took them 4 business day to issue a new card.

So I called the local office today about the delay in processing. Guess what they told me. " The clerk forgot to take a copy of your naturalization cert. the day that you apply. you will have to come bring the original again". Well at least I know what the problem is..........

guess I'll have to call Social security administration on Monday and check with them to find out what's the matter. Or the local office. It's just hard to believe it takes THAT long.

I don't know if they mail DLs in Ohio. In my case I just went to DL or motor vihecles or whatever it's called office, and they issued me a licence with my new name the same day.

Hello, question for those who had their name change and had to apply for name change on social security card after getting sitizenship. How long did it take....I'm asking cause mine is taking longer then a month now.... Thank you.

Just call them 1-877-487-2778. I found it to be the best way to track it. Online status only changes when they have already processed it.

No! It does not delay the process. Know from personal experience.

Meaning just list them chronoligically , starting with current or most recent one.

I believe they provide you with 5-6 lines there to list your places of work. If you only had two jobs , one full time and one part time i do not see why you should use a separate sheet for part -time jobs. You would use a separate sheet if you had too many to list and you ran out of space...

Did you attach only your naturalization cert and 2 pictures? anything else at all? If I submitted my application on 11/07 Monday and it arrived to them on Tuesday 11/08 , considering Friday the 11th is the holiday, when would you think I could get it? With expedited will I ever see the online...

I'd suggest you list ALL the jobs you ever had. Be it part-time, temp or something else. I listed my temp assignments and internships, everything. It's always better to overdisclose then underdisclose. Good luck!

Hello!!! Did anyone apply for a passport and used expedited service? How long did it actually take? Was it within 2 weeks as they promise. With expedited when does the online status appear.? How much did you pay? Thanks a million!!!!

Question for those who already recieved your naturalization certificate. Is your "old" name listed on it if you requested a name change? Is your social security number listed? Marital status? What info is listed on the certificate? Another question if you applied for name change and want to...

and one more thing that i find interesting is that ALL the other letters I recieved from USCIS during the whole process have my name spalled correctly, only this one is wron....I don't know how come...?????

The thing is though, that I requested a name change on my N400 and it will be not what it is now. So if what you are saying is true then they totally ignored my wish to change the name and will put my "OLD" name on the certificate.....

Hello everyone. I have a question. Maybe someone had a similar exparience and can advise. I recieved an Oath letter and my name is misspelled. They put an "I" insted of "Y" in my last name. I was wondering what should i do? How bad is it? What should I do now? Thank you! VL
