Today I opened a service request for my wife. I couldn't open for myself, since I opened one in last May. For that they responded like case is pending visa availability. Lot of my friends who applied after me got the approvals this week.

You're right, but nobody mentioned about their last LUD. Lot of approved cases would have got 08/19. Who knows exactly?

mine is not xfer case, it's been there with NSC since beginning.

Mostly it looks like they follow 485RD, but if that's the case my RD is 10/2003, I don't see mine yet!!? I saw some approvals those RD are after 10/2003. PD: 09/2002.

Effective from 07/01/2007? What happened to applications which became current in June? Hopefully they will follow 485 RD to approve cases, otherwise we are so screwed.

nothing is goin to happen I guess, nothing is going to happen for people who filed recently. All this is to clean old cases and within 2 months back to origin. Also USCIS desperately need money I think.
