Here's the scenario.
Sister lives in Fremont, CA.
Brother lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
They wanna file for asylum together from CA. Does the brother need to move to CA? He goes to school in Colorado and is almost done (senior year), so he can't really transfer at this moment.
Hello, One of my friends has had his GC application pending for almost 5 years and he's really starting to get fed up. What should he do? He's already made several phone calls to USCIS. Please help someone (He lives in Berkeley, CA).
She doesn't qualify as she's in 50s and isn't disabled. She's been here in the country for less than 4 months (derivative asylee) and I don't really know what/how I could get her treated.
She's diabetic and I'm yet to hit a jackpot. On a serious note, I thought 'assistance' would've given you a hint on medical aid or something. She doesn't work and I'm trying to find some cheap method to get her treated...
I've come to know tons of people who've filed their asylum cases despite having lived in the states for over 5 years. Your case needs to be strong. Good luck.
Hello all,
I live in the State of California and I was wondering if there was a really convenient method of making doctor appointments for my diabetic mother's checkup. Please note that she's a derivative asylee.
asaf, how does applying for benefits work by the way? My mom (Derivative asylee) got to the States like 3 months ago. Does she qualify for any medicare or anything? She's diabetic and I don't even know what to do about it. I've heard that medical insurance is really high.
pipabest, its completely understandable why her visa got rejected. When you apply for a US Visa (any category), you need to convince them that you'll be returning back to the country. In your case, the main intention of your wife is to immigrate here (which is why you submitted the I130 form)...
Folks,
I just had a quick question. I recently(3 months ago) returned back from a trip abroad (4 months). If I were to take another trip in about 3 months time, will it result in my timeline for Citizenship being reset?
