Indeed they picked up my applications and approved it today. The last LUD for all our 485 application was on 8/19/06. I think all the guys with this LUD are pre-Approved .. but its just a chance the IO picks it up from the pool. Thanks

It looks like -- Name Check has a validity period. Just like Biometrics -- it has to be redone again. This if true -- and if one is so unlucky to be stuck in 2nd name check when dates are current and if the window of being current is small -- may be one has to do the name check for 3rd time...

What I have seen in past -- Biometrics plays no part in 485 approval .. Some people got the 485 without the biometrics done. But to issue you with a physical card .. they will call you for biometrics. I would not worry much about it.
