Instead of posting message and waiting for a reply here, I suggest you call USCIS and tell the problem you are facing. Also try to find out your case status.

Thank you for the response, I am planning to take infopass apointement next week to expedite my EAD process also. I need EAD first

Infopass will not help you.

Call USCIS and raise a Service Request first thing in the morning. Don't wait for Infopass appointment buddy.

For EAD you can take that.

security check

My last LUD is 8/19/2006 too. I called three times and the replies were all the same, security check is pending. The last IO lady was kind enough to tell me my case was "pre_viewed", just waiting for security check done now. But she had no information on since when it's pending.

My PD is DEC 2002, RD SEP 2003

I will wait and see for now....

I contacted uscis today and they put a note on my case. And he says we will get back to you in 30 days. He is not willing to give the latest update on my case.

Did you also tell them that your case is outside normal processing (means delayed). Did you ask him to open a service request?

i didnt ask him to open a SR, he put a note on mycase not sure its SR or just a note on my case status. But he said they will get back to me within 30 days. I told him the priority date but did not mention it is outside of normal processing.

Had called USCIS just yesterday -- was disappointed to hear that I was stuck in name check. Wonder how it got cleared in a day.

Anyways we are happy today...

Got the magic emails

Received the approved emails from CRIS for me and my family.

ND: Aug 2002
RD: May 2004

Changed job but didn't inform. Last LUD on all 485s on 8/19/06.

When called up IO on 6/26, she told that all the cases were approved on 6/25.

What a great relief. A long journery to an end...

Got approval email on 06/28/07. GC waiting is over after 4years & 10 months.
