I agree...the stamp is totally unimpressive and probably very easy to fake also. No wonder they are planning on phasing it out...

I travelled through FRA on a PP stamp w/o a Transit Visa a few months ago. You may want to check the website to see if they need a transit visa for a Bangladesh Passport - I have an Indian PP.

The Citizen line includes PR..at least at IAD. Used it a few weeks ago....just my luck the Citizen line was longer than the Visitor line that time..

I was approved too in July with just 1 FP. That time, BCIS seemed to be in a rush to approve those who had their 1FP expiring soon.

I think he might be referring to incorporating a business as a S Corp. You need to be a PR/Citizen to start a S Corp.

That is one way I guess...but you know how those entry/exit stamps are - they can be illegible at times. Bottomline...whose responsibility is it to track it - ours or BCIS?

Curious as to who is responsible for tracking time spent outside the US after you get PR. This obviously affects residency requirements for citizenship down the road and also the need for a re-rentry permit if you stay more than 1 year. The question is how BCIS determines the date you left...

Just curious...do they always send you for a secondary inspection at the POE if you only have a PP stamp and not the physical GC? Happended to me a few days ago and wanted to check if this is standard procedure?
