Time I was interviewed in Hartford, CT in mid-July, I took the oath on October 7th. This was after getting an Infopass to chase up my case (which was sitting doing nothing on somebodys desk) The Hartford DO are good people IMO, just very overworked like most people.

Black&White copy vs. Color copy This is an interesting topic. I guess you could scan a copy in color into your PC just in case the Passport office loses the original. Mind you who knows if you could make use of it.

Simple answer Don't move if you can avoid it, unless you want to add more time on your app. and the good chance of the INS losing your file IMHO

I lost my green card also, the interviewing officer did not tell my to get a replacement, just sign an affidavit that I'd lost it and that if I find it I must return it to the INS. Waiting my oath letter now ........ :rolleyes:
