We have applied recently based on 5 yrs (actually 4 yrs & 10mons).
Although it is quite early in the process, here is my time-line so far -
App Delivered at VSC - 07/22/05
Check Cashed - 07/26/05
Receipt Notice - ?

Can you please update your timeline? I suppose you must have recieved your
FP Notice by now. Also how long did it take to get your Receipt Notice (NOA).
I haven't received mine yet although the checks have already been cashed. I am expecting it this week.
There is not much info regarding Hartford timelines. Those who are going
through Hartford DO, pls share your timelines and lets keep this tracker up-to-date.
In the latest bulletin, it is heartening to note that Hartford processing dates
have jumped 3 months. Hopefully they will keep up this pace.

We received Receipt Notices today. Wife's notice is all clear without
any exceptions. Of course, mine was tagged with "Receipt with Exception".
BTW, I tried to check online-status and our ESC#'s are not in the
system yet. Not much surprise there. I will give it a try after couple
of weeks to see if it shows up.
Regarding FP, seems like VSC is averaging about 7 to 10 weeks after PD.
So you should be getting FP notice anytime now. Do let us know when
you get it.

The link above is for USCIS Online case status system. However don't
be surprised if your case does not show up in the system. There seems
to be no rhyme or reason as to why someone's case shows up in
the system and why others don't.
BTW, the case status information which you get online at this
site is identical to the information provided by the automated
telephone system of the National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283
But both are pretty much useless in providing any accurate/updated info
specific to individual case. All you get is some generic blurb such as
"this type of app is taking 365 days to process" etc.
If your case infact does show up in the online system, then you can sign-up
to get updates via email. Also from the feedback of others, it seems that
when the case disappears from the system at a later stage, more often
that not it means that you can expect your interview letter within few weeks.

Any word on your FP yet?
Hartford seems to have really picked up the pace recently. There is another 3 month jump in the August bulletin. Just in the last two months, the processing times have gone from 08/11/2004 to 02/19/2005.

Hmm..two months after PD and no FP notice yet?
I wonder if things have slowed down at VSC. The average used to
be 6 weeks for FP notice and 8 weeks for FP.
I request VSC applicants especially those with PD's of June and July
to post thier FP timelines. The info would be usefull and very much
appreciated.

Recieved FP notice on Sept 10th with FP date scheduled for Oct 7th. However got them done on Sept 16th, because of travel plans.

Does anyone know how long after interview the oath happens in Hartford DO? Also is the oath letter is given on the day of interview or is it sent in the mail later?
