There are many people with RD in april and ND in May who are not approved. Your case may take until Jan 2002 or Feb, just my guess.
My WAC-01-194...Still waiting.

You are right, Karunesh. Mid-April and May RDs have been stuck in all the respects, first for getting receipt, then FP and now approval.
Dee Rod, I dont think any seasonality or any other prediction works for INS. Just hope that something good will happen. "Hope" is all that...

Kumar, Go to ur employer and change your I9 to use the EAD. Come back with AP. There will be absolutely no problem this way. I have done this myself, and it is easy. Basically, go change your I9.

Not sure. FP notice is based on location. Maybe, Approval notice is also "partially" based on location, due to Agency checks etc. But, initially I used to think it is independent of location. Now I am not sure.

You are correct Bongo. INS changed the AVM message. That is all.
By the way, would you be forwarding your mail if you change address out of CA? Does INS allow mail forwarding? Thx.
Please inform abt whether you got approval notices, and how long it took for letter to reach you after AVM said it got approved.
Once again, congrats to everyone whose avm said approved, and good luck to people who are waiting.
Thanks.

Johny Lever and Bhagwan,
It is indeed sad to see that April/May filers like us got penalized. Hopefully, approvals will be according to ND, and we have earlier ND than people who filed in Sep. Let us hope for the best and stay together in this.

thats a good question by venkat97. i have heard from lawyer websites, and from this board that it is RD. But I am not sure of the AC21 law mentioning clearly as RD. Does anyone have info on this?
