My reasons for May 2001 RD cases postponement

1] 911 tragedy and subsequent additional security measures for GC approvals. Probability : 90%
2] X\'mas shopping and vacation time for INS folks: Probability : 90%
3] INS is against people who filed from May 2001 Probability: 0.1%
4] Batch mode processing. They are now working on H1s, I-140s, FPs, EADs, LCs, Plastic Cards everything except 485-AOS aprovals. :-( Probability 90%

Today my lawyer told me that my AOS is approved on 12/17/01. They received the
notice today. The AVM was updated 2 weeks after the FP saying something like
they have received my finger print and my case is pending review.

I\'ve bee visiting ISN daily fro the past 1.5 years and I find this website
very helpful. I hope those who are still waiting on their cases will get
approved very soon. Good luck to all of you.

Hi All,
I just checked the AVM and message says "This case has been approved on Dec 22"
My details are
EB2 RIR -INDIA
ND 11/00
FP -I 03/16
FP -II 12/14
I don\'t know why I got two times FP notice. I called on 12/21 to IIO and he told me that it will take another 90 days to take action on this case. So IIO is useless for me.

I was actively following this board ever since I applied for 485 and it was of great help.

on 111/19 I went to India. I returned on 12/27. By that time my 485 was appvd. I entered with AP. There was a typo in my AP. My DOB
is 05/02, it was printed 05/05. Even my name was long in passport , but all my US I-797 forms has only the the pronounced part pf my name.
But I didn\'t have any problem in reentry. US INS is very much reasonable compared to some other countries.

Finally my sincere thanks to Ciba for his great service.

Damsel ran away with AZ Boy\'s friend

Both of them got May approval.
One fake and the other real, but they vanished real fast.

I think Damsel is shying away from all the attention he is getting for 1st authentic May approval.

He also may be scared that some March/April RD pending folks will get mad at the situation.

don\'t worry Damsel, you are doing OK. It is not your fault, that you got an early approval.
