sayedfaisal - I did have the kind-of misleading message on one of the application. The reason for the message was that the RFE sent to the lawyers office was returned undelivered to BCIS and was redirected by BCIS to our address.

I received it too! It is 90 days.

Between 2 of my H1-B there was a period covered by I-94. I was asked to provide evidence that I maintained legal status throughout that period i.e. I-94 was valid for interim period etc. I was given 90 days to repond.

The correct date for update on online status is 7/16

My RFE date was 06/26. Response submitted on 07/12. Acknowledged by BCIS on online status 06/16. But no approval yet. It is mentioned on the online status that the app. time will be 900-999 days, but as the iminary processing is complete it is expected to take less time than indicated.
