    I also applied I-140 in Nov 2002 ND is 11/21/02. EB3 VSC Concurrent filed 485 in Dec 2002. FP done in Feb. 2003. Got EAD in March 2003 I140 aprroval-God knows or INS..!!! Lets keep in touch..

    Can we work as 1099 contractor while 485 is pending

    Thanks for valuable feedback. How to handle RFE asking for paystub ?As on 1099 there r pay checks not pay stubs. Second how to handle employment letter issue as there is no employer as such when working on 1099. Thanks

    I guess its not mandatory to open a company to work on 1099. Only thing is u will have to pay taxes every quarter...

    Changing Employer

    Generally non-solicitation agreement is signed between companies and consultants.Its upto company to sue u or not. They can ,if they want ,if there is some NSA agreement (99.9% it is). So problem may be NSA not INS.
