Any DV 2005 waiting for AOS interview?

Majanikol, Congratulations. I was also following your story. Happy for you. Baltimore gives that letter (9-12) months as a standard. You should get your GC within a month or so.

    desperate help on dv lottery

Assuming that you refer to DV 2006, wait until Oct 1, 2005, then depending on your case number you may file another I-485 based on your DV. (It does not hurt to have multiple I-485 aplications). On the other hand, instead of applying for I-485, you may wish to process through the US embassy...

    DV or Marriage

If the marriage is to a US citizen, the decision is yours. If you think it is a fairly straigtforward case, you may opt not to do DV and save your money. I personnally would apply for DV anyway. There are so many things that could go wrong. If the marriage is to a GC holder, then it is...

AOS not approved yet since July9th,2004

You were not supposed to send I-485 before Oct. 1, 2004. If they realize it, they will reject it. If I were you, I would contact KCC. If you can still do CP, go for it. Otherwise you may retry AOS, but there is a chance that you may waste the application fee. Time is short.

F-1 visa owner applying for DV

If you had legal F-1 status when you applied for AOS, you should be OK even if you are out of status now. Regarding H1 stuff that LucyMo mentions, H1 is actually a dual (immigration or non-immigration) intent visa. So even if AOS or CP is denied, you are OK.

Twice. In your case it is possible that your first time, FBI did not find the quality acceptable. I got the second notice 4 days after the first fingerprint so USCIS is fast to send the second notice. But when you go to do fingerprint again, tell them you gave it once already. They can check...

    FP results

Well, if you asked a too detailed question, they might refer you to USCIS. First ask them if they sent the result back to USCIS. Once you get a "Yes", you may want to ask them if the quality of your fingerprint was acceptable, just to be sure. But don't ask if your record is clean or not...

    AOS Approved

Majanikol, You can definitely call tomorrow. You may even try today. Agi, I don't think you need to be nervous. But if it bothers you that much, why don't you make an Infopass app. and try to get a stamp.

    AOS Approved

Here is the timeline: Dec. 1 Send application to USCIS. End of March: Give fingerprint End of April: Pass interview. Interview officer was very nice. Basically verify that your answers are correct. Sign a few papers give another fingerprint and that's it. As far as financial, I just...

    FBI Name Check

First of all, fingerprint and name check are independent things. USCIS initiate name check process on its own after you apply. You don't have much control how name check goes. As far as I know, it is also almost impossible to check the status. Just wait. Fingerprint results on the other hand...
