Here is the timeline:
Dec. 1 Send application to USCIS.
End of March: Give fingerprint
End of April: Pass interview.

Interview officer was very nice. Basically verify
that your answers are correct. Sign a few papers
give another fingerprint and that's it. As far as financial,
I just submitted proof of employment and nothing else.
Compared to nervous waiting, the interview was very smooth.
If I had more knowledge when I applied, I probably would do
CP and save my sanity.

I see a lot of questions on FBI name check process. I already
replied once to someone but I just would like to repeat myself.
FBI name check and fingerprinting are different stuff. USCIS
initiates FBI name check on its own without you knowing it.
Fingerprint on the other hand is very easy. It is completed
in one day after you give your fingerprint as long as FBI
finds the quality acceptable. For majority of people it is
acceptable. Otherwise you are asked to be fingerprinted again.
But my point is, if you did not get your fingerprint notice yet,
you don't need to panic. Your name check process does not
rely on that.

Congratulations DV05!!! You must really be relieved!
Since I had my fingerprints done today, when do you think I should contac the FBI about it? If I'm not wrong, once you said something like after one or two day?

Stamp in your passport

Congrats!!!
I also passed my interview in March in the NY Office. The Officer said she doesn't need to stamp my passport because the card will be in the mail shortly! This was 2 month ago! My lawyer made an inquire 4/22 and today 5/2 when I called the 800-number, the lady informed me that all the files are still in NY City, and since I don't have anything to prove the success of the interview, all I can do is wait    !
My patience is running out......

Majanikol,

You can definitely call tomorrow. You may even try today.

Agi,

I don't think you need to be nervous. But if it bothers you
that much, why don't you make an Infopass app. and try
to get a stamp.

Hey dv05, (in case you are still there :) )
how many times have you been fingerprinted? Once or twice? I got second FP appointment and I'm just wondering why is that!
Thanks!

Twice. In your case it is possible that your first time, FBI did not find
the quality acceptable. I got the second notice 4 days after the first
fingerprint so USCIS is fast to send the second notice. But when you
go to do fingerprint again, tell them you gave it once already. They can
check what's going on in their computer.
Also did you have your photo taken the first time ? If you did not,
they may be asking you to go again for photo only.
If people over there can't verify what's going on, just give your
fingerprint again, it can't hurt.
