In the same shoes!
How are you doing? I came across your post regarding the dilemma whether you'll get your J1 approved after GC denial. Iam facing the same situation. What happened at last? Were you able to convince the PD to sponsor your H1 or did you get j1 approval. Please, do let me know...
I will really appreciate if you can answer this question. My company had been running an ad since November 13, 2005 that fit my skill set, but, the ad did not specify anything about the number of positions. They already filed for PERM for one employee using this ad. Can I file for my PERM...
I will really appreciate if you can answer this question. My company had been running an advertisement since November 13, 2005 that fit my skill set. They already filed for PERM for one employee using this ad. Now, my company lawyer is not agreeing to file for my PERM reusing the same ad. She is...
sssboston, can you please tell us how you got your case transferred from NSC to VSC?
Iam having the same problem. My I 140/485 was filed in Texas since I live and work in ATL, but, TSC transferred my case to NSC saying that I fall under their jurisdiction (my labor was approved from Chicago...
UNITEDNATIONS could u pls share ur opinion about this?
I am not affected by retrogression.
When my lawyer filed the case to USCIS, she told me that since I work and reside in Atlanta, I need to file from Texas Service Center. She also mentioned that, if I filed just for I-140, I would have...
Well, Iam totally confused now because my colleague who is sponsored by the the same parent company as mine got his labor approved from Chicago but his I140 got approved from Vermont since he works at a client site in NJ and lives there. And, also, his I485 is under process in VSC!
Labor is filed in the jurisdiction based on where your office is located but filing of I140/485 is supposed to be based on where you live. My lawyer filed currectly but the TSC made a mistake.
My office is Chicago based, for that's why my labor was filed in Chicago. But, I was sent to Atlanta as a consultant from my office and therefore live and work in Atlanta. Hence, my I140/485 was filed at Texas.
My labour was approved from Chicago but I filed for I140/485 from Texas since I work as a consultant in Atlanta. And, today I got the news that TSC transferred all my files to NSC! They said that Iam under the juridiction of Nebraska, but, my present work and residence is under the juridiction...

I think it's not a good idea to contact the analyst yourself, they might feel as if you are bugging them. Irritating an analyst by calling is the last thing we wanna do because an analyst can really ruin things if he/she wants to. I guess this is the reason why your analyst has become...
I want to visit my parents desperately but can't make a decision. My husband came here on F1 and after we got married I got F2 visa stamped in my passport and thus entered US. Then his status changed to H1 and consequently mine to H4. But, neither one of us left US after the change of status...

Congrats for the approval!
Did you file at MO SESA in Oct 2002 or did you file at Chicago DOL on Oct 2002?
If you post the data again, it will be helpful to alot of people. Thanks.
To Ashkar or any other helpful person
Hi! If anyone could kindly clear my confusion.
The priority date of my application is 7/28/2003.
It reached DOL on 11/5/03.
It was entered into the DOL system on 12/15/03
and has not been assigned to an analyst yet.
Since it takes usually two...
