probably. it means that your case is probably wrapping up, and you are close to adjudication. You can expect an RFE for employment verification however you might not get one. All depends on the case.

Good luck, our case is coming up soon, our RD and ND are begining of 1/03.

Is second FP a good sign or a bad sign? I am not very well versed with the FP process. From what I know, once the applicant submits the FP it goes to FBI for fingerprinting check. Is the file going to be on hold till the FBI submit the results to USCIS?

Also, my friend who filed in July 2002 got approved last week with out any second FP???? Meanwhile another friend of mine who filed in March 2002 had to undergo second FP. He got his approval last week also...


Is there any standard logical process USCIS maintains while processing EB based GC applications???

FP2 is a good sign, it means that it's being touched by an office.
Yes, the file will be on hold until the results arrive to USCIS, but no worries usually it takes a day for the FP results to get there. What happens after that? it depends on the case, USCIS might send an RFE for EVL, or, they might not.

Just a side note. BCIS has reduced the number of daily queries to ~250. I had to run my report on two days. The July 6, 2004 status is gathered on both July 2 and July 6.

Hi all,
My lawyer received the FP2 notice today July 6, 2004. FP2 date is 08/17/2004. I haven't received mine yet.


NOTE: I called the 1-800 number to do the address change only on Friday July 2nd. Did this trigger the FP2 notice? Luckily I still have my old apt. for a month.

The strange thing is, my status still says what it did on day 1 - no indication of FP2 notice sent.

Got second FP Notice

Fellow Dec 02 Filers...

We(Me and my wife) received our second FP notice on July 7 2004. The FP date is set for 08/18/2004.

Hoping that NSC will start processing Dec 2002 applications soon.

Got my second FP notice few days back.
Finally got some hope.

I am not sure if the FP notices are generated by the computer automatically or an adjudicator goes through our files and generated FP notices for those whoes FPs have expired, but they feel that their case is ready to be adjudicated?

Any suggestions?

Your file is being touched by an officer who is preparing it to be adjudicated. it looks like your case is on the move..
