I received this email, but my USCIS account still shows 'Decision Pending.' Does anyone know what this situation means?
The USCIS email says that action has been taken on my case, but when I logged in immediately to check, it still shows 'Decision Pending.

Apply i589 October 2024
Interview 11 March 2025 San Francisco
Decision pickup date 25 March 2025,but on 24 March 2025 the AO called me the pickup was cancelled, when the decision is ready, it will be mailed to me.Additionally, on March 27,2025, i received an email from uscis stating:"we have taken an action on your case"However when i logged into my uscis online account, i didnot see any updates, new notification,or new documents regarding my i589 case.Until today 1 April I haven't seen any updates. The process of waiting for the decision was very painful, and I was also worried about i will be informed having a second interview.Has anyone received the decision of the interview in March in San francisco office?
Have you received any updates now? I also got an email from USCIS saying that action has been taken on my case, but when I logged into USCIS, it still shows 'Decision Pending' with no updates.

I advise you to attend a school to learn English.
This is very rude from you to say, since I've encountered myself countless of grammar/spelling mistakes on your posts, in that case you also need a school to learn English sir/ma'am. I really don't think attacking others for not giving you the response you're expecting is the right path to go. You should do better.

Well, thank you for giving me a chance to explain this further so there are no hard feelings. In brief, they said, "This is what you wanted," and so on. I replied, "No, that's not what I said." They then showed me a picture of a previous post, but it's clear they didn't understand what was written. I never mentioned what they claimed I said in the post, which is why, instead of arguing, I offered advice as a gentleman.

Have you read what they said? It’s clearly not an answer to the question, "Does anyone know another way to confirm the approval of a case?" that I wrote. I could have argued with them, but I chose to leave a valid resource for members simply by stick to the subject and not argue with a person that is saying stuff that is not valid . I hope I’ve clarified what I meant for you sir/ma'am, and I’m not suggesting learning English just for grammar, but for better understanding as what I wrote was very clear.

Unfortunately, you have to wait for the letter. My online I-94 still shows, even though my asylum was approved six months ago. Sending you positive vibes for a speedy approval!

I am sure our fellow forum member understood what we all pretty much did in regards your first post, that you... and I quote "were not even feeling talking about the case during the interview or deal with questions and answers..." Those were your exact words, as a result anybody can assume you were not willing to put an effort to get your asylum approved, hence the response you got from our fellow forum member.

use “case tracker app” you can see a full history of your case.

My own experience,

I have seen “decision was mailed” on the same day I got approved. But a few hours later it changed to fee was waived and fingerprints was taken.

A few hours later, it showed new card was ordered. And usps tracking was posted.

That really worked! may I know when did you apply for asylum?

Folks, enough of the back and forth please. Try not to derail the thread for other members with the needless "I said", "you said", postings!

Kudos to you! sending you the same.

On your point of view maybe, because "were not even feeling talking about the case during the interview or deal with questions and answers" it is more like I just want to get approved and leave... not meaning" I will go unprepared and all other things things right? which is assuming things...

Anyway thank you again for bringing this so I can clarify exactly what it is... wish you guys the best in your future journey...

Hello, I am new here
I have asylum interview at LA office, what do you know about this office ?
Thanks
Hello! Good luck!

Read this thread:

Also, the LA office is in Anaheim. If you live in LA, the drive to Anaheim is long and full of traffic. Allow yourself enough time to arrive. Take a little bit of sth to eat and water with you to drink before the interview. Interviews can get long and trust me, you wont be able to respond well on a hungry stomach. Make sure to take your ID and your receipt with you. They will ask for it at the entrance. There is plenty of parking.

Once you pass security, and show your ID at the first window, there is a waiting room. They will call you to one of the windows again for finger printing. Then you will wait to be called. The interviews usually happen on the second floor. Sometimes, the wait time gets long, 2-3 hours. They call you and tell you to go to lunch which means the officer is not ready yet to see you. Sometimes, they call you on time. Either way, stay calm.

Some officers are nice, some others are nitpicky. Regardless of who you get, make sure all the info on your form is accurate and memorize all the dates and places and addresses. I don't know what kind of asylum case you have, but if you are applying for fear of persecution at home, make sure you have done your homework and find examples of the persecution of similar people to you in newspapers and memorize their names. Ask your attorney for a copy of the asylum application form and memorize the info. because you will be asked about it. If there are errors on the form, let your attorney know. You can fix those errors during the interview when the officer asks you questions about the form.

Stay cool and have faith.

I hope this helps.

My decision came in with white envelope and it was approval. I don't think envelope matters.
i did my interview on 1st nov 2024
After that decision is pending
And application is pending
And now again decision is pending
I recently got EAD approval and also i94 travel history cleared. What the mean of this i94 history cleared ? is it positive ?

I checked EOIR and is not showing anything. I have seen people got updated on that system on the same day when their status got updated from the USCIS as it is an automated system. I have giving my fingerprints back on 2018 so every time I renew I don't get to give me fingerprints. Can you confirm?
Hi, did you get mail with decision? Is it referral? According to “tradition” of this forum silence means negative decision because usually people share when get approval or share when they wait more than usual for mail

Hi, it means only that you got EAD based on C08.
People can get positive or negative decision with “no record” on travel history
