Can you please share your timeline from Case Tracker? Do you still have “Decision was mailed”? Or there are “fees were waived” “case was updated to fingerprints were taken” “new card is being produced”?I put my A number in the automated case information EIOR
The answer is
There is no case found for this case number .
I hope I put it right. And in the right place .
Thank u for being helpful . God bless you. I hope I got the approval soon I am very nervous.
Thank you for the clarification.if you already have a work permit, your case status online will not change from "decision was mailed" to "fees are waived" because a fee waiver only applies when you are requesting a new work permit and demonstrate financial hardship to justify not paying the filing fee; once you have a work permit, the fee is considered paid and your status will reflect the decision that was made on your application.
Key points to remember:
Fee waiver is for new applications:
If you are applying for a new work permit and qualify for a fee waiver, your case status might show "fees waived" while your application is being processed.
Existing work permit means no fee change:
If you already have a valid work permit, your case status will not change to "fees waived" even if you are eligible for a fee waiver on a future application.

Newarkwhich office ?
Please let us know the outcome. Anyway there is no sense to be upset beforehand, just several days of waiting and you will get decision by mail.if you already have a work permit, your case status online will not change from "decision was mailed" to "fees are waived" because a fee waiver only applies when you are requesting a new work permit and demonstrate financial hardship to justify not paying the filing fee; once you have a work permit, the fee is considered paid and your status will reflect the decision that was made on your application.

Fees are waived is 100% you asylum is granted, they approved a new EAD with a different categoryif you already have a work permit, your case status online will not change from "decision was mailed" to "fees are waived" because a fee waiver only applies when you are requesting a new work permit and demonstrate financial hardship to justify not paying the filing fee; once you have a work permit, the fee is considered paid and your status will reflect the decision that was made on your application.

Can you please send me examples of situations when “decision was mailed” without changing for several days led to approval? I don’t remember these cases and I read this forum from the beginning. That’s why I think that “decision was mailed” for several days is 100% Referral or NOIDFees are waived is 100% you asylum is granted, they approved a new EAD with a different category
Decision was mailed is 90% denied or NOID
Please send proofs for this statement that lots of asylees were approved with only “decision was mailed” statusStill decision was mailed .
For someone who wrote to me before and it is not appearing here . I asked about the EAD . I have one and my fees all paid off . And SSN fingerprint done since I came here . They said I do not need a new EAD .
A lot of asylee get decision was mailed and nothing else to it . Maybe each case is different I do not know .
I nothing changed on the case status and I will keep checking will inform u with any news .
Please note that 90% of people here had 1st EAD, even 2 or more EAD when saw “Fees were waived” because waiting time is very long. C08 EAD has nothing with A05 EAD, so every asylee gets A05 with waived fee FIRST time. It means that there are no exclusions in this situation.if you already have a work permit, your case status online will not change from "decision was mailed" to "fees are waived" because a fee waiver only applies when you are requesting a new work permit and demonstrate financial hardship to justify not paying the filing fee; once you have a work permit, the fee is considered paid and your status will reflect the decision that was made on your application.

This is 100% wrong and inaccurate. Getting your “fees were waived” status has nothing to do with financially struggling to pay for the fee, and it rather means you’re getting your FIRST free of charge A5 (Asylee) status work permit, most of us have had more than one C8 work permit before getting our A5 ones, when the asylum office grants asylum, they always issue a new EAD card with the new category, hence the status change in the case tracker app. If you in fact got an approval without getting your “fees waived” status please share it here so we know that’s also a possibility.if you already have a work permit, your case status online will not change from "decision was mailed" to "fees are waived" because a fee waiver only applies when you are requesting a new work permit and demonstrate financial hardship to justify not paying the filing fee; once you have a work permit, the fee is considered paid and your status will reflect the decision that was made on your application.
