VSC Updated Dates

This is the weirdest thing I have ever seen, if VSC is playing a joke, this one is a cruel joke on all the people who are waiting and have their dates pending before June 1st, 2003.

I never hated VSC for anything delays, wrong processing, not processing in order etc. but this thing has evoked some bad feelings in me. I am Dec 2002, two FPs, I am still waiting to hear anything from them.
 
For those who can't see the updated dates.....

All,
Who can't see the updated dates, do the following:

delete cockies
delete history
close IE
start new IE
then you can see the updated dates...

Nope -- even that has changed back to 10/06/04 now...

I'm guessing that they rolled back the change and that it's taking a while to make it's way through they system.

As much as I'd like to see a 201 day jump in the I-485 processing date, it doesn't make any sense. BTW, the I-140 EB3 date also jumped up by 70 days to a 66 day backlog!

I did that, got the 10/21/004 update for a while then it went back to 10/06/04. Try doing it again -- you'll probably see it go back to the old date also.

...get a new Desktop, go to India, and stay there until you are approved! :)
 
Unbelievable!

It's like someone today decided ... "which date should I put today?" ... maybe he forgot to shave in the morning, so instead he shaved off about a year from the backlogs! What a joke! My I-485 RD/ND is May 2003 ... so it better be soon then! :cool:

This is getting stranger. I cleared all by cached stuff again and the 10/21/04 update is back (for all service centers).

BTW, you can also clear your cached files under Control Panel -> Internet Options -> General (Delete Cookies and Delete Files buttons).

Attached is the latest updates spreadsheet (although I still expect the dates to regress shortly...):

I-765 (AOS) 10/15/04 +18 days (6 days backlog)
I-131 (AP) 10/15/04 +18 days (6 days backlog)
I-140 (EB2 excep. ability) 11/20/03 +0 days (336 days backlog)
I-140 (EB2 excep. ability NIW) 10/02/02 +0 days (750 days backlog)
I-140 (EB3 skilled worker) 08/16/04 +70 days (66 days backlog)
I-485 06/01/03 +201 days (508 days backlog)

Guys,

Looking at different posts of this thread with dates as nov12, oct 06, june 1 etc. I think VSC is confused and still in the process of "tossing coins" to pick up one :D
 
isnt 508 the average time to get approval in our tracker as well?

Heh, yeah it actually is for EB2 cases. For EB3 its 475 days (no EB1 approvals yet). Maybe that's how they came up with their date :D.

What the hell they think they are doing? Bombard them with the enquiries so that they should not repeat these kind of jokes anymore. VSC is full of jokers.

Heh, I'm on the way to put a big red arrow in the 2003 tracker pointing at my case with "APPROVE NOW!" beside it ;).

Actually Jun 2003 is a big backlog.
Why do people want it to move back to 2002. I dont understand
Should nt they do 485 in 6 months time??
 
I bet it's just a trick to pull something off in the court case, is the next hearing soon?
