I think only NYC folks are getting 540 days message, maybe due to the largest number of applicants. Somebody will have to talk to Hillary Clinton about expediting applications in NYC DO.

Up until the recent fee hike, NYC DO was actually processing applicants rather quickly. I've searched some posts from about a year ago, and people reported their cases being processed in 3-4 months. Of course, who knows what'll happen now?
 
It's Newark, NJ.

Does anybody know how bad or good :) is the processing time at Newark? I recieved my NOA on the 12/6 but no FP yet.

I still have a feeling that all 540 days notices are for NYC folks. There aren't many posts on the NYC tracker. Should keep that thread on the top.

I think your feeling is correct. So far, the few NYC posts I've seen have all reported 540 days.
 
Finally recieved the NOA and Finger Printing

I was getting a little nervous but I finally got the NOA and finger printing letter. It says to expect 365 days to be notified for further action

Congrats! I wonder what basis they work on, since my FP appointment is before yours, but my application was submitted a few days after yours. Is your appointment at the Brooklyn office?
