Let's take for example January:
2390 cases unfinished
71 approved+4 withdrawn+22 transferred=97 "done" in 1 week
2390/97= 25 weeks (24.63)
Of course, this is just an estimate at last week's rate (which - as we know - in not quite a constant value)

smile280,

I got my 1st FP notice sometime April or May 2002. I did the fingerprints June 1, 2002, as scheduled.

2nd FP notice arrived about three weeks ago. My lawyer called VCS approx two months ago to find out about my case status. I don't know if that could trigger the 2nd FP Notice.

111 & 112 scanned on 02/03/2004

since last scan 1/30

111 - 4 approvals, 1 RFE sent
112 - no changes

hey rickz

hey rickz,

how do you obtain that info. Would it be possible that you scat the eac 03127 series or you teach me how to do it?

please reply at viko33 (at) lycos (dot) com

I will really appreciated

Viko

sen_gc,
Our first FP was taken in Arlington, VA.

vikoviko,
Unfortunatelly, I don't have enough time to scan the whole series. It is really easy to do, though. Please go to the first page of this thread:

http://boards.immigrationportal.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=87455&perpage=15&pagenumber=1

sbctsublc kindly provided all necessary instructions there. That's how I did it. It will probably take you several days to scan the series to extract necessary numbers (only 485 cases). After that you will be able to re-scan the spreadsheet whenever you want to get updates.

Thanks for the service but need help

Hi,

This is my record details for filing done at VSC
EAC021805......
PD 7/7/2000
RD 4/30/2002
ND 5/02/2002
FP1 - 9/25/2002
RFE DT. 12/03/2003
Response sent and updated as per BCIS web 12/18/2003
FP2 - 1/10/2004

Would really appreciate if someone would throw some light on my case especially with the kind of activity on my case since Dec'03, when can I anticipate getting approval.

Also how do I read the records posted here so that I too can assist others and at the same time see my progress.

Thanks in advance

Method to the VSC ... method ...

I know this question has been asked thousands of times, but when the processed cases appear random, do you think there is actually a method of prioritization (by EB cat, country, state of residence VSC internal quotas) or could part of the process include a lottery-like process, similar to the DV ("green card lottery") process? Just curious... I am personally settled in for a long, long wait... but it never hurts to check ;)
