I pray and with you all for fast approval. don't give up..... I was laid of after I got my I-140 first time in 2001 and I started from ground up again.

LUD does not change after replying REF

I replied my RFE on May 4th but neither LUD nor status message has been changed. Is it normal or do I have to call them to find out anything went wrong.

Hey GC4all, Congrats buddy great news enjoy your freedom, if i remeber correctly you had RFE on evl in Jan and a bunch of LUD's in Feb'05. any recent LUD's , or did you try to call VSC?

Hi,

I sent my RFE for I-485 on 3/23/2005 and it was received and status message changed on 3/28/2005.

LUD on 3/28/2005, 3/29/2005 and 4/1/2005. No changes after that.

I am planning to call after 60 day period. Could you please post how initiated inquiry. That will help!
 
I am June 2003 filer.

How do you find out if your name is being checked or cleared ?

140/485 concurrent filed on 5/29/03

140 approved - Feb'04
PD on 140 is Feb'99 .
485 RFE (missing medicals) replied on 12/7/04.

LUD changed once in Mar'05 but no message/status change.

Called 800# on May 4th. No LUD change or mail from USCIS.
 
Called VSC Again today

Guys,

I think you have seen mypost two weeks back. I called VSC Two weeks back the lady said your name checjk is complete waiting to assign to officer. You will get approval in two weeks. Today they were saying it may take a month again. I don't know what to believe.

Today they said usually after RFE the cases will approve from 45 to 60 days.

I am seeing sometimes a spurt of approvals around a few days. The 3 new approvals posted in this forum seem to have happened on May 23 although the people received intimations on May 31. Let us hope that more approvals have been issued, and that will include the RFE respondants here.

We have all been struggling a lot, and I hope this saga ends very soon. Good luck to all of us.
 
Both I and my husband got approved on 5/31/2005

approved after a long wait.

Mine was approved on May 9, which was my first day of my trip to India. I did not have an advance parole, however I had a valid H1 visa and was allowed to enter without any hassles.
Good luck to everybody else here in this forum for their help and encouragement throughtout this ordeal.

My case is a Sch. A case. I have received an RFE for Visa Screen certificate. My attorney replied RFE on 6/9(overnight Fedex) and got a message change yesterday(6/14) saying that RFE response received. Now waiting for the BIG DAY ...Wishing everyone good luck .....
 
shocked and awed

Made it. Very, very tired from all the working, worrying, hoping and praying, but very happy. Received approvals for husband and elder son also. Waiting on younger son's case, he did his FP in March, 4 months after the rest of us.

I am praying that all of you would have posted here before the end of this month.
