VISA Information for Countries

Anybody has experience applying for Colombia, Argentina, or Brazil tourist visas?
My GC is pending, RTD is still pending (expecting to get RTD in September/October 2025).

My experience 2024-25 traveling with RTD and no GC. You can go without a visa to:

MEXICO, GUATEMALA with a Schengen Visa
BELIZE, HONDURAS, EL SALVADOR, COSTA RICA, with a Schengen Visa by land border crossing
PANAMA only RTD. I'm not sure if they check a nationality
BRAZIL only RTD, if your nationality doesn’t require a visa

Panama doesn’t matter the nationality? Thanks for this information

Is not the Schengen for European countries? Why would they even look for Schengen?

How much do you pay for schengen visa

It's one of the visa exemptions
"Visa exemption also applies to residents of countries that are visa exempt as well as holders of a valid visa issued by Canada, the United States, or a Schengen member state."
And if you are from Afghanistan, Algeria, Angola, Armenia, Bangladesh, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Botswana, Cameroon, China, Republic of the Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Ghana, Haiti, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kenya, Laos, Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, Mali, Mongolia, Mozambique, Nepal, Nigeria, North Korea, Oman, Pakistan, Palestine, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Syria, Taiwan, Timor-Leste, Vietnam and Yemen better to ask them before

They give you a visa waiver if you have a Schengen visa because they figure the Schengen country checked you out and issued you the visa, so you're kosher. Or halal. Or whatever. Pick your food type of choice :)

This makes huge sense, and I don't understand why everyone doesn't do it. Let the US and Europe do the work, and you welcome the traveler.

Thanks for your sharing your experience. Can you please tell us what kind of questions they asked on the entry to the US? How long it took?

At passport control, there was just one question: did I visit my country of birth? Then, they sent me to secondary inspections. I waited for 15 minutes, and there were no questions.
