I called up SESA and the officer told me that my case was reviewed yesterday and a query was sent to my lawyer and he has until 5th Sep to reply. He did not tell me what the query was. My attorney has not yet received it.

Anyone have any ideas what it could be?? I will let you know when I know more..

Hi Caamin
According to my lawyer you have to have an advertisement for atleast 4 times in a local newspaper and it should be separated by 1 month. This is for RIR cases. My lawyer did the advertisement in Washington Post. please post the details of your advertisements like where they were published and how many times.

Can you please let me know how many advertisements were given for you.And did you give it in weekdays or sundays.I think 2 are enough if you give it on Sundays with one month gap according to my lawyer.Please let me know.

As per our discussion forum, SESA is now processing for May 21 as goodone PD is May 21, 2002.

but query patern is not good sign. Hope for the best.

Finding Dates from SESA

Friends:

Since dependent has moved on to 140, we need someone else from this group to find the date from SESA. Every Monday this person could find and let us know.

Even though I am in Phil DOL now, still go back to chat with you guys since I have nothing to do except calling auto phone system.

Do not worry about too much. It happened to me also. They sent a query letter to my lawyer to supplement some materials to clarify and give you one month to reply. If you can reply before 5th Sept. (in your case), you will be 100% for sure certified. The reason I say that is that SESA has no intention to reject your case, otherwise, u already rejected now. They just want to make sure that your lawyer , actually your company can clear the query.

Be sure to cooperate with your lawyer and company. You have to hurry them up. Remember that you can't miss the Sept. 5th deadline, otherwise, you are 100% rejected. Do it now and you will be Goodone :p

OR if you can't get the case number (according to some company's policy) and also you don't know the company's phone number, I suggest that you can try every possible phone number from your company's phone directory for HR department or similar department. Wow that's great! :)
Good luck dependent, are you going to try to do 140 + 485 in parallel?. Please let us know if you are exploring that option.
Also , for all who are updating the list...please keep the heading so that it is easier to understand...does a date in the final column instead of the word "pending" mean that labor is completed and 140 stage has commenced?
Just trying to reduce any abiguity in words...:)

Just called SESA Richmond

Finally, I got registried and can post on this forum. Thank you webmaster!

Just called SESA Richmond, and found out they are doing May 23rd right now. Mine is moving to Phil. So it seems that they are getting faster and faster now. :)

About query, one of my friends had the same experience, his attorney gave the wrong Job Ad copies. He got certified successfully after they verified those ad. So really no need to worry. Cheers!
