TSC I-140 March approvals

I am requesting all you guys to give your valuable suggestions
for how to proceed my case.
Is anybody knows that how long TX INS takes RFE cases to process ?

I140 EB3 RIR

RD: June 14th 2001
ND: July 24TH 2001

RFE RECV DT DEC 27TH 2001(RFE is for submitting original Labour certification )

RFE RESP DISPATCHED ON JAN 3RD 2002

AVM MESSAGE SAYS THAT RFE REPLY RECVD ON JAN 25TH 2002

No approval yet.

6-8 weeks from ND of RFE provided you are lucky in TSC measuring scale.

Why did your lawyer miss submission of original LC at first place ?, just curious ?

   "6-8 weeks from ND of RFE" - Do U mean 6-8 weeks from date when the response reached TSC mailroom.. OR from the Date the AVM says "RFE resp received on mm/dd/yyyy"??
   In Bhaskar\'s case the difference is over 3 weeks.

Hi Iyer !

This would be 6-8 weeks after RFE receipt info is updated in AVM.

You can see the tracker record.

Though I have doubt about it. My first RFE was sent on Jan 7, 02 and I got issued secind RFE on Jan 26, 02. It seems to me after receiving the response officer just gives a look for suitability of response and if found ok he/she keeps case with him for next four five weeks before writing magic word approval.

It also depends from officer to officer.

Hi all,

My case EB2 RIR has been approved. It was approved on March 4th.

I did check the AVM on 4th but i heard the same old message. i checked today at 6:00 P.M Central time. I heard the sweet voice of approval.

I have opted for CP but with TSC you never know for what they have approved my case.

Can I get a medical exam in other states? There is a long wait in NC.

Gking - I need this advice from you

my I-140 is about to be approved Texas service center ND 09/07/01 EB3 -RIR.
But now I got a good job offer from a different employer.
Now if I switch companies, is there any way that i can keep this green card process running.
Lets assume that my old employer agrees to continue to process provided I take care of the expenses.
I always understood that green card is for future employment.
In this case my old employer should be able to continue my green card, right.
Please help me

I had my physical done in NC - I was told it must be in the state that you reside.

I have never verified that, as I scheduled the appointment in advance of I140 approval. If you are in the RDU area, you might want to try Charlotte, as I was told the wait was shorter there, since there is more than one doctor. Good luck

Anyone who got xfered to VSC approved?

Now I am thinking my application (ND 11/14/01) getting transferred to VSC was a bad thing. If I was still at TSC, it would have been approved.

Why is the INS so cruel?
