Just started my sixth year. last week was my fith year anniversary so I don't really mind waiting few more months, hope that help moving the name check faster. my I140 and I485 were filed on Nov 17 2006, my I140 was approved on April 2007. the only LUD on I485 is the RD date. I come from one the middle east so my guess I am stuck in the FBI name check.
So here is one more stupid question for you gurus, how would I know whats going on with my case? my attorney advised I dont contact Texas center directly but she is not checking either and I think I can't wait longer. what is the number I should call to check on my case?

Labor approved Oct 2006
I140, I485 filed concurrently on Nov 2006
AD, EAD approved Dec 2006
I140 approved April 2007
I485 LUD Nov 2006 (RD notice)

P.S. is there any one in here with a PD older than mine?

How frustrating........

Now all of us are stuck until October.....even people who used to have the current PDs (EB2, EB1). I don't understand how exactly this rush of applications yesterday make all other previously-filed application stuck. It simply means that USCIS is not going to work on any I-485 cases for the next three months!!!!!

I-765 EAD.
I filed my own EAD using USPS priority mail with delivery confirmation to the following address. My 485 is pending in TSC.
Department of Homeland Security
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, TSC
PO Box 851041
Mesquite, TX 75185-1041
USPS failed to delivery and it may return back to me. Please let me know what carrier(ups, fedex, dhl etc ) and what kind of method(registered, certified etc) i should use. Also provide the correct address if im wrong.

Hi guys i need your input on this. My PD is 05/20/2003. My I485 was trasferred from VSC to TSC on 03/15/2007. The LUD didn't change after that. But the LUD changed to 03/07/2007 today. Does it mean anything? Thank you in advance.

I just e-filed it yesterday and the PO box looks different for U, also USPS always have problems delivering to PO boxes is receipt is requested.


try e-filing and then send the documents by mail to the address given on receipt. Try no to use receipt requested when it is PO box address,

I normally use normal usps...no special delivery..No problems so far

Yes they work so hard generating automated letters and stuffing it in envelopes,

they need a break, UNDERSTAND Please!!!!

U all have 401K, the government employees have retirement after 20Yrs of Job (they get 50% of latest salary after retirement every month)..so they are working towards retirement, a little break will help the workload to exist so that all can get retirement benefits.

My PD is almost close to you. 05/15/2003 EB3 and transferred to VSC to TSC on 03/15/2007. Today I have noticed LUD change to 03/07/2007 in USCIS site. I did not receive any mail. My wife's application LUD did not change.
Not sure what this means... ?

Transferred to TSC: 3/2007
Several fingerprints done code 2 and 3

I was hoping I would hear some good news June or July, but no luck.... still waiting, just applied for 4th EAD and AP.... I had LUD changes on 6/27, 6/28 and 6/30 for I-485, but no status change besides "case transferred to TCS etc etc...." I dont think these LUD changes mean anything....

I was wondering if mine is the only odd case wherein the 485 RD was in 2003... or if there are others with the same PD/ RDs as well. Please advise...
 
In my case also has happened same thing..

I have done FP2 on 25th(somehow I haven't received FP2 notification in the mail, I wasn't show up on the scheduled date and time, so I went to INS office and had done our FP2) ..

LUD changed 6/26, 6/27, 6/28, 6/30...

after that no change.

two times i have rceived email when LUD changed.

Could anyone please answer my questions? Thanks a lot!

1. Do I need signature from my employer to extend my EAD and AP?

2. My 140 and 485 have been pending for over half a year. I am changing my job very soon. Do I need my future employer to sign any paper for my 485 process? Thank you!
 
There was also a LUD on my case on July 3rd. Just only for my 485 cases. There was no LUD on my AP or EAD. The status message did not change.
 
No & no.

You don't need employer's signature for the renewal of EAD and AP because I-485 is your application, not your employer's. However, you should not change your employer until your I-140 is approved. AC21 portability is applicable only after your I-140 is approved and I-485 is more than 6 months old. You could lose your application and status if your current employer withdraw I-140.
