485 and EAD LUD 7/8/2006

I have an LUD on my 485 and approved EAD as well. There doesn't seem to be a discernable pattern for the cases that got updated.

Based on limited info, I noticed the receipt date for all the cases that got the 7/8/06 update is after 4/15/06 but not all cases received after 4/15/06 got updated.

Strange are the ways of USCIS...

I have an RD of 4/27 with no LUD, so your observation is not entirely accurate nick715us.

Do these LUDs have anything to do with the second phase of bi-specilization? Are 485 cases already in the system going to be routed to Nebraska?

No LUDs since FP. I don't like this...
 
RFE on my EAD says "The date of birth entered on your application does not match our records. Please send a copy of your birth certificate and a copy of the biographical and photo identification pages of your passport. If the documents are not in English, please include a certified English translation by a translator certified competent to translate the language of the document."

I did enter the correct date of birth on my EAD application, and since I didn't have a birth certificate, I sent a letter from local authorities in India and 2 affidavits, one from my mom, and other from my grandmother, and all those were in English.

I don't understand what they are looking for. Do you guys have any idea? Your help will be appreciated.

Send COLOR photocopies of the bio-pages of your passport, and COLOR photocopy of your US Driver's License [maybe you can send COLOR photocopy of your last US visa stamp too]. As they asked for birth certificate again, send the photocopies of those too.

LUDs on I485 and I765 changed to 07/08/2006

The LUDs on my pending I485 and already approved I765 were changed to 07/08/2006 as well.

When my applications were filed, my attorney sent all of those items for each type of application (485/AP/EAD). I guess you did not submit those for EAD/AP, probably you submitted for only 485.
 
Sounds like a smart idea. I am going to send the Birth Certificate copy and Passport copies anyway.

LUDs

Folks,

Don't get too much excited or frustrated if you see many LUDs on your applications.... something is wrong in the CIS case tracking system.

Here is my personal experience with LUDs

1. My 140 approved without any LUDs. Still it shows pending.. only LUDs on it was on 7/03. But my employer got the original copy of 140 approval notice almost month back.
2. My wife's EAD was approved 7/7. It has LUDs on 6/5, 6/7, 7/3, 7/5, 7/7, 7/8, 7/10, 7/11. Even yesterday (7/10) I got another email from CIS saying that her EAD approved. So, I got emails twice for her EAD approval (7/7 and 7/10) :)
3. My 485 has LUDs on 6/5, 6/7, 6/20 (FP), 6/21, 7/3, 7/7, 7/8.

It may be a good sign for approval

I felt your LUD is different with the cases with RD after June 1. It may be good sign for approval. Some people did get their GC in two-three monthes.
