TSC Consolidated 485 Tracker

Please correct me if I am wrong.
This is the pattern of LUDs I have noticed in I-485:

There are a couple of LUDs right before and a few right after FP (all within a few days apart). Then there is a silence of 1-3 months and a couple of LUDs and approval or RFE.

I suspect after FP, the LUDs are for name check clearance, etc. And then it goes to a queue waiting approval (that's what the silence is about). After the silence, first its the internal/tentative approval, and then approval is reviewed for quality assurance one or twice (that is what the last couple of LUDs towards the end are, I think).

This is all my guess work based on how government agencies work.

And no, I don't work for USCIS, neither am I a lawyer. However, I wouldn't mind getting a check or two :)

neargc: Your approval should be done by mid-end July or August at the most - since most people are stuck in backlog centers for labor or can't file 485 due to retrogression. So 485 team is much less busy. TSC is fastest when it comes to I-140 and 485.

I saw LUDs on 06/06, 06/07, 06/08, 06/12, 06/13 and nothing after. My EAD and AP was mailed on 06/06. FP was done on 06/06.

Thanks for the wishes. I hope it comes true. I am optimistic and agree what you said. That is my observation too. There are 2-3 other guys in the same time frame and I am monitoring the same.

AP Approved!

AP was approved today, 2 weeks after EAD approval and roughly 1 month since I applied.

Looks like there are at least a handful of people here, all in the same boat, moving pretty fast, I might add. Am I understanding correctly that people are getting their I485 approved in 3-4 months? I like the sound of that, but it seems to be at odds with the processing timelines on the USCIS website (Dec 2005). Can someone educate me?

Well, if you look at the I-140 processing date at TSC, it says January 19, 2006. But most people are getting it in 1-2 months. In fact, everything except I-1485 (AP/EAD/FP/140) is done within 1-2 months of ND at TSC. Look at all the recent approvals and you will see the pattern. However, for 485, pattern is still not very clear.

485 LUD change

After reading thru forms I was expecting to see LUD change after FP, but there was nothing. My FP was done in April and lud change was on May 20. Only one LUD change.

Hope 485 will be cleared very soon for all waiting. I really know how difficult this long wait.
 
Since I-485 involves the FBI name check and other stuff, I am thinking processing times can vary widely from case to case. Now, TSC at Dec. 19th, 2005 with I-485 EB based processing. That reads better than any other service center!

Unfortunately, some of us are stuck on Name Check and those Processing times do not apply to us. In the meantime they use all the resources that are supposed to be working on EB cases to work on approving assylees cases being dumped from Nebraska. :mad:

No EAD?

I have not received my EAD yet. It's almost two months, do you have any ideas and reasons for delays? My spouse already received EAD on June 2nd, 2006. We have already received our AP.
Do they perform background/name check process before they issue EAD?

Just received Bio 3 appointment notice for me and wife for 06/27/2006. It was sent out on 06/19/2006, however my LUD shows 06/15/2006, which means there was no LUD for the issuance of fingerprint notice.
I have updated LC Hopeful's info and mine too.

AP Approved

Got my AP Approved today after an RFE. Updated Tracker attached. Waiting for the final step :rolleyes:

It is probably a little early to be asking about that. I would watch the processing dates for TSC. Once they get to around your receipt date and you haven't heard anything then make inquiries. You probably haven't even had your FP done yet have you? Give it some time.
 
My fingerprint is done on 6/2 (Code 3) and then i noticed a LUD change on 6/2 and 6/3

One more question, since i got my EAD and AP approved, could i change jobs, ie i am planning to move to work in a different state?

folks (esp. those that have applied after March 2006), could you please drop a note if you see your I-485 LUDs changing?

also - i have seen my AP approved but not received it yet (2 weeks now). anybody else in the same boat?
