TSC Consolidated 485 Tracker

did FP today

Was invited to do FP code 1 today (Saturday 7/29). It was the 2nd FP since I had had been FP for previous I-485 18 months ago. Hopefully that means GC is coming soon since FP taken so late in the process (after 200 days of I-485 pending).

By the way code 1 is: 10 fingers + 4 fingers together of each left and right hand, nothing else (that's what I did today)

How to check status in TSC

Hi guys,
My 485 is transferred from CSC. My 140 was approved as EB3(we filed as EB2) but luckily they switched it to EB2 after my lawyer followed up.

Now I need to see if my 485 still refers to old EB3 application or EB2 approval. 485 was filed concurrent along with old EB3 approval.

Is there a email that TST will respond to?

Green Card in hand

Hi everyone,

I haven't posted here before but I have followed all that was written closely the last few months. It really helped to get so much useful information during the wait and to see that I was not alone. Thanks to everyone for making this such a great site. And especially thanks to manishg_in for your superb work with the tracker.

Below are my stats. I've omitted lots of LUDs, but they followed the same patterns as others have reported.

On another note, I have been waiting for my EAD for the last 48 days. After they received response to the RFE on 07/14, no news thereafter. Do you guys know, what might be taking so long.

EADs seem to be taking longer ... well, atleast in a few cases.
My RD is 06/09, AP is approved, but no news on EAD yet.
 
You both are right at least for Code 3. We had a FP Code 3 done today with fingerprints of all fingers, a photograph and signature.

There were automated accept/reject messages in the computer screen for finger prints, so the servicing lady repeated some fingers saveral times. Hopefully, they went OK.

Does anybody know how long will it take to reach the biomatric data from the Homeland Security to USCIS.

ALSO, A BIG QUESTION - WHAT WILL BE THE NEXT STEP IN BACKGROUND CHECK?

My understanding of the Biometric codes is:

Code 1 - Fingerprints only
Code 2 - Fingerprints and Photograph
Code 3 - Fingerprints, photograph and signature.

Usually, the very first Biometrics appt is code 3. Subsequent appts may be just code 1 or 2. And no, the codes don't have any impact on processing times.

While my PERM took > 5 months, the green card was quite fast.

Here's the summary for my case: NSC-> TSC, EB2
I131 - RD 6/14 -- AD 7/18 (not yet received...)
I140 - RD 6/14 -- AD 7/10
I485 - RD 6/14 -- AD 7/20 -- mailed 7/25 -- received
I765 - RD 6/14 -- AD 7/7 -- mailed 7/11 -- received
FP was 6/29

There were only very few lookup dates, including 7/8.
 
Question about LUD

I did my FP on 7/27/06, but I didn't receive any email about my LUD. But I login to USCIS website yesterday, the LUD was changed to 7/29/06. I am wondering how you guys know you LUD. Did you receive email from USCIS or login to their website to check ?

You only receive e-mails about your online case status change, and not for your LUDs. You have to keep track of LUDs by yourself by regularly checking USCIS case tracking website. When did you file I-485/AP/EAD? Your country, EB Category etc please.

two LUDs in two days

My husband's and my I-485 got two LUD in two days 7/31/2006 and 8/1/2006.
But we were stuck in name check previously. Is it meaning anything?

My details:
EB2 China RIR
LC Approve: December, 2005
I-140 approve: Jan, 2006
I-485, I-765, I-131 for me and husband both recived on 5/5/2006
I-765 and I-131 approved for me in one month
I-131 approved for husband 7/27/2006 Still waiting for I-765 :mad:
I-485 both update: ....... 6/3/2006, 7/31/2006, 8/1/2006 :confused:

Next step is already under way. The dreaded name check.

Whether it is fast or not - seems to be a crapshoot. Maybe it is already done, maybe it will take two or three years.
 
RD updated according to online status

Fileing date: 7/27/2006 to NSC (receipt noted as 6/28/2006)
But according to the online status, all our cases showed 6/30/2006 as receipt date. I guess this is the date TSC received the cases.
 
I received my EAD in a week time after approval.Exact one week.

My AP got approved today.

There is an RFE on my I-140 on July 24. My lawyer still has not got RFE notification.

How long will it take usually to get AP & I-140 in hand after approval / RFE ?
