Guys,
According to AVM, my EAD is approved on 03/05/02. But I haven\'t received the EAD yet.
Is this normal, if not what should I do..?
 
No - it is NOT normal.

My EAD was approved on 03/25 and I got it by mail on 03/27. You need to talk to your lawyer or to IIO at the INS. Probably got lost in the postal transit.

I NOTICED EVERYBODY GOT THEIR AP APPROVED BEFORE EAD. BUT IN MY CASE AP IS NOT APPROVED YET AND EAD IS APPROVED.

IS IT NORMAL? PLEASE HELP.............

It looks like I am the only one without any sort of approval.

ND: 02/27/2002 (but on AVM 02/15/2002 is the received date. so
                 02/15/2002 is ND !!!!!)

AP: No news as of this evening :(
EAD: Got an RFE for photographs on 03/12/2002, sent new ones, AVM
     updated with RFE received date as 03/22/2002.
AOS: God only knows :(

EAC#\'s start with EAC-02-112-5****

Is there anybody in the same boat as I am ? Is it normal ?

help help !!

My company lost the Reciepts for EAC ( thank God they have a copy of it ) .What would happen if they could not find the reciepts , Please help !!
Also I called the AVM and used the EAC number ..It is telling me that they recieved the form on March 16th ( I guess they mean March 16th is the ND or RD ?? Please advise

Nishu - If you lose some Notice from INS, as far as I know, you can always ask them

to mail another one, explaining them that that you did not receive it. These guys are fair in that matter.

I am not sure about receipt date - but if they say that they received it on X date, that is it. For eg. I mailed my I-140 in November. But I got a receipt date as if it is in Jan (subsequent year) - and the application will be (and was) processed according to Jan only not Nov. So, just wait for Notice and see what it exactly says. By the way where is your updated tracker ?
 
PASSPORT CHANGE: NEED QUICK SUGGESTIONS

I had to change my daughter\'s name on the passport as her initial passport was missing her last name. Indian consulate issued her a new passport today. Obviously passport number etc. are different. I am very keen to know the effect of this on 485 processing.
Do I need to notify INS for this change? 485 papers were already filed with this new name. If anybody went thru this situation, please advise. Any suggestions will be highly apprciated.
