Tracker for EB3 cases

My I140 RFE was for
1. 2003 W2
2. Experience letter - as I had experience letter from a coworker not from company's HR.

I finally asked the HR to send a new Experience letter and submitted with it, and the case got approved.

Dont know yet about I485 RFE.

June 2003 I-140 pending

Hello dear,

My I-140 is pending in California service centre since June 2003 and I-485 is pending since October 2003. I have already received my EAD and Advanced parole and I got my finger printing done.

USCIS website shows that they are now processing October 2003 I-140 and 485 cases. Anybody in the group in this situation. Anysuggestion please.

I have asked my attorney to enquire with CIS couple of weeks ago. I have called the Customer Service myself (don't know if it a good idea or not) and the lady took down my info and said she will forward it to CSC. Waiting to hear back .. Is there anything else I can do ? Thanks

not really... Do you know if your attorney has followed up with them? Techincally cust. service shouldn't even give you any info. about I140 since it's the company's... Maybe you could talk to your lawyer to make sure she/he really does contact them?!

I am in a very similar situation to yours, my eb3 non-concurrent is 09/03/03. no Lud change or anything since last year. My attorney contacted CIS last week, but nothing since then.

My attorney said she sent an enquiry on 22-sep and she will wait for 10 business days before sending another one.

My EB2 140 is pending since Aug, 2003. My lawyer finally made a phone inquiry last week through 1-800 number and the rap took all the information. He told me that I have to wait for another 30 days for the response. Gee...what if I still don't hear anything after 30 days? I have no idea what else I can do. Any suggestion?

malsa, your lawyer said she'll wait for 10 business days before sending another inquiry? I thought once you made the inquiry, you have to wait for 30 days to send another one. Correct me if I'm wrong.
 
my attorney says uscis requests 20-30 days wait time after an inquiry was made. he sent one last week (7 days ago). will keep you guys posted if anything happens!

I spoke with Attroney's assistant and it is quite likely she is wrong about 10
business days. I also observed that my LUD changed on 09/22 (when the enquiry was supposedly sent) and on 09/23.

Ended my journey for Green card, got I485 approved next day. Still waiting for RFE on my wife's case.

140/485 filed and promotion

Hi all,

Need your help and advice.

I filed for my 140/485 concurrently about 4 months ago. My LC is filed as a Software engineer. But not I am getting an opputunity to become a Supervisor.

How does the promotion affect my GC ?

Any advice from all of you will be very helpful.

hi,

Just got the email this morning from USCIS that my case was approved yesterday. The email came in 10:15 AM, i checked online status this morning around 8:00 am, the status was the same as it had been since i submitted the case (LUD: 09/05/2003). Now LUD changed to 09/30/03, and the status says approval.

My company is small-medium size (appr. 80 people) worldwide, doing okay financially. Couple rounds of layoffs during the recession, but hiring since last year or so.
LC was for BS + 2 mos of experience, my educational credentials were way over the minium requirement.

Congrats!!, could you pl let us know what is your I-140 RD date bcos mine is sept03 and non-concurrent only. I heard that concurrent 140 are in better speed than non-concurrent 140. Thank you.

My 140 and 485 got approved on 10/01/2004. Here are the details of my case:

EB3, concurrent, labor substitution.
140 & 485: RD 11/20/2003
EAD approved: 02/2004
FP: 04/2004
140 + 485 approved: 10/01/2004
RFE: None
