Tracker:Any Dec01 and beyond got plastic

Still Waiting...

I am still waiting for my plastic card.

ND: 11/28/01
AD: 8/28/03
PP Stamped: 9/8/03 (Chicago)
Plastic card: Still Waiting...
Online message never got updated, it still shows that my RFE was received on June 9 and it is taking 600 + days to approve this case........
I already sent two inquiry request to BCIS, no reply. I called the 800 and they didn't even know the case has already been approved. They just read you the online message from web.

Same goes for wife.. Her online status was never updated since February 2002.

Anyone in the same boat???

Yes, NSC is a pain, Columbus even more, guess if I had gone to Cincinnati for stamping I might have got my plastic card by now

When I stamped in Chicago office in Nov 2003, the officer told me it takes about 6 months or more to receive plastic card.

Anyone in Chicago received card less than that?

Why arent you guys posting and looking for details in in the plastic card tracker section of the NSC forum? Anyways, here are my details:

AD: 10/29/03 EB2 local interview Chicago
Plastic Card: 01/28/2004

Local interviews get their cards faster although the approval takes longer.
 
After getting approved in September, my online message said something like “On September 15th you I485 was approved. Etc..” Yesterday it was changed “On February 19, 2004, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready.” Any guess on how long it takes to get the card from this point? My local office is Seattle, WA.

well, looks like you guys are psychic. i checked my on-line message, and it said the card was mailed to me on Feb 24th. I'm leaving abroad for 3 weeks on Saturday morning, so hopefuly I'll get it by then. USCIS mail usually comes in 3-4 days in my experience. Otherwise, I'll just use my passport stamp which is valid until Sep-04 to travel.

How to check on Plastic card Status

I got my passport stamped 2 months ago. I haven't received the card yet. Is there a place to check the status of plastic card let me know
 
update: I checked my mail when I came home from work today. Lo and behold: the plastic card has arrived! Just in the nick of time. I'm going home on Saturday for 3 weeks to visit my family.

People don't want to take part in

I guess once people get their GC stamped they don't worry about Plastic Card, which I guess is very important since it is valid for 10 years

People don't want to come to 485 Issues in NSC center form after approval I guess.
