I-140 RFE help !
REF on 140 has following queries among others
1. Form DE-6, Quarterly Wage Report:
Submit copies of the U.S. company's California Employment Development Department (EDD) form DE-6, Quarterly Wage Reports for all employees for the last 4 quarters that were accepted by the State of California. The USCIS must receive the submitted document in the sealed EDD envelope. The envelope should be stamped with an official EDD stamp certifying that the enclosed documents are full, true and correct copies of the original documents on file with EDD.
Has anyone received such query ? Lawyer tells that EDD must attest wage report and that may take 6 weeks. Do not have much time left to respond the RFE. How long does it take, if anyone has done this before?
2. Education: submit proof of beneficiary's foreign education credentials i.e. ORIGINAL or SCHOOL-CERTIFIED copies of diploma,transcripts, attendance records etc. Provide a name, address and telephone number at which the Service or other U.S. Government agency can verify the information.

My attorney told me that one of his clients was also asked to submit DE-6 report. I don't mean to discourage you, but I believe the EDD told him it would not be possible for them to give that report because they've been getting too many requests! I don't know if this is true!
For query#2, I am sure your university should be having an exclusive diploma attestation department which issues such transcripts in sealed envelopes. But why are you planning to submit ORIGINAL transcripts??? USCIS assumes it is easy to get original copies from Indian universities. I know it is a nightmare! Please see if you can get these in sealed envelopes just like the way US universities request students from India.

Hi folks,
Iam I/T professional working as consultant for the most part of my career so far,
My Eb2 RIR I-140/485/AP/EAD were filed in 10/08/2004 to Vermont center by a
small 100 + employees Indian company. Got approved AP/EAD on 11/2004.
No finger print notice yet. though i got finger printed in 04/2004 when i
applied H-1B Visa stamping.
1. Is this normal NO FP notice yet, what do i need to do wrt to that?
2. I am working with a good client on 6 month to hire position,
and with a good american consulting company as a preferred vendor
which pays $$ on time, the client expects me to join them as an employee
after 07/2005 like i mentioned above my I-140 applied in 10/2004 and is
pending, the current processing date for EB2 I-140 is 02/2004,
Is there any good chance my I-140 gets approved by 07/2005 or
little after that?
3. I have another offer, this is a pure consulting assignment
the preferred vendor to this client is an indian company who likes to
pay atleast 45 days LATE and My company wants to charge me 4%
more on the billing rate and pay me 4% LESS $$ but ON TIME.
should i consider this assignment? instead of changing companies
while GC is in process and the risk of getting delayed and
put up with this desi indian companies till my GC approves?
Please help me decide, tell me what you would do in my situation ?

I dont have much time at my disposal.

Thanks CSC_Pawn. CIS has approved my EAD on 02/18/2005, and I don't see anything for I-140 since the 02/11/2005 the day they received my response to I-140 RFE.
