Company Name & Owner change............

hello guys,

My company is sold to another company & the name is changed but the my general manager, my work, titile, salary all remain the same, would it affect my GC process in any way?? Any similar experiences/thoughts appreciated.
 
140 processing might stop after H1 quota opens

Guys
Do you all think that Texas 140 processing will stop after H1 quota (20,000) H1s open ? Won't the USCIS divert all resources to processuing H1s ?

Sorry for being a pessimist. Just trying t do a reality check

Hello everybody,
I am new to this thread. My labor under EB3 catagory was approved on Jan 25th this year. I-140 was filed about 20- 25 days ago. I havent still received the Recieved date. The fees for USCIS has still not been debited out of my account. Has any one experienced similar situation? I am being told by my attorney that sometimes it takes about 3 to 4 weeks for this to happen. Any thoughts?
 
Don't worry, thats normal......I was in the same boat. But with the way TSC has processed 140s you may get your approval before you get your notice....

FP Appointment

Got my FP appointment notice today. Appointment is on April 22, 2005. My wife has same I-485 notice date as myself but she didn't get her FP notice. Is this normal? I thought husband and wife should get FP on the same date if their I485 has same notice date.

Good to hear that. I saw two FPs today. That is a good sign.

Not a problem,.

In your case it is not a problem at all. Because 140 is already approved and you still with that company only.

Take my case an example, I am also in the same boat. My original labor applied by My employer (say A) in last year. Company B bought company A and they substituted me the labor, and my GC is going on.

But I dont know about my old labor status which is my own and seems it went to backlog center. When I talk to my company they are saying dont think about that..... god knows what will happen.
 
looks like fp has reached 06/08/04

based on todays information, i see that applications whose rd is somewhere around 06.08.04, are getting their fp appointments.
 
Early FP in Atlanta

Got our FP done early in Atlanta. Was schedule on April 16, and got done today.

my lawyer also filed my I-140 2.5 weeks back and i also havent recd either the ND or RD date.
 
Early FP Question

What is the process that I have to follow to get FP done early? I am also in Atlanta? Also, Is it safe to do early FP?

Early FP in Atlanta

You don't need to do anything but appear in the office with FP notice and picture ID. My husband and I stepped in their office 5 minutes before they close on Sat afternoon and didn't say a word but handed them our paper. The gentleman was very nice and asked our picture ID and let us in. Good luck. Always worth to try. Good luck.

Q to GAROL reg FP in Atlanta

Hi, GAROL, we got FP notice too, scheduled on 4/20/05. As you did your early FP in Atlanta. Is that the Buford Hwy location? What is the operation hour on Sat. there as you mentioned that you did it 5 minutes before the closing? Great thanks for your answer.
 
Congrat to those who get FPs.
Hopefully by the summer you will get your approval.

Seems more FPs than 140 these couple of days.
