Texas Consolidated I140 Tracker

Congratulations gc. Looks like the concurrent filers, though behind are inching along slowly! :)

Since you seem to have filed just the I140, you can expect approval anytime now.

If you filed both 485 and 140 concurrently, you should receive 4 receipts, one each for the I140, 765 (EAD), 131 (Travel Docs) and 485. Whether your case was filed under EB2 or EB3, you need to look at the top right hand corner of your receipt under Notice Type and section. There it should say something about advanced degree, if you are EB2.

Check around before posting. Those numbers are still from 4/30/2006. As usual, the USCIS website report the numbers when ALL 4 service centers have updated processing time. Texas had the numbers updated 1.5 weeks ago and they were waiting on CA,NB and V SC to do the same to put those numbers online all at once.
SO basically YES the date hasn t changed but it s the same info as 2 weeks ago. Let s wait the next update FROM texas before complaining. (AILA is giving them when they are issued)

Thank you there. Which reveipt should I look for 'advanced degree'? On all of them, or just I140? I have not got I140 receipt yet, and company told me they have not got it.

Concurrent filing
I485 RD 4/3/06 ND 4/7/06
FP ND 4/19/06 Done on 5/2/06
EAD approved on 5/5/06, got the card on 5/8/06

Actually it may be quite simple. From your description we see that you filed I-485 and got EAD approved. That points to EB-2 since EB-3 is worldwide retrogressed. So unless your labor PD is May 2001 or before you must have filed under EB-2. Hope that helps.

To answer your question: the I-140 will state what EB-type it is filed under.

EB-2 or EB-3

Thanks, GC_2006. I do no have the I140 receipt, that is why I am nervous. I got my LC through PERM on 1/19/06. I guess I am in the EB-2 category then.

Your answer put the peace back in my mind.

LC PERM 1/19/06

I140 approved

My I140 was approved yesterday. Just received the email. I certainly feel that with the new Director at USCIS, things are getting faster and more prompt.

Please help me with a response

1. Filed labor on 9/2002 and is pending with PBEC.
2. Filed labor in PERM for a different position on 12/2005.
3. PERM got approved and file I-140 already.
4. No when the old labor gets approved, can I withdraw the I-140 (filed with PERM labor) and file I-140 and I-485 together?

What are the odds of getting rejected.

Any input would be apreciated.

EAD Approved

Hi Guys,

This is a standard message for I-140 status. I am also seeing the same.

FYI:

If you filed I-485, case staus online message says that this kind of case will take 850 - 900 days to process.

Thanks

Hello
Thanks for such a prompt reply ...I was a little worried about that timeframe.
However while the case was at VSC the message would say its taking them around 30 - 90 days. Just scared me to death...when i read it.

Hi,

I know the message makes us so much worry as already we are in this painful process since long long years. But don't think much about the message. TSC is working fast and clearing the I-140 in 1 month - 6 months time frame.

I guess the message they are displaying as a standard message due to retrogression of Visa dates for I-485.

Thanks

I140 Approved !!!

Online Status says 'The case is approved on 8th May...
Thanks

Hi Group,
Warm regards...

I had filed my (EB2) I-140 in TSC on 21st Mar,2006 and immediately got RFE on Paystub.
My Lawyer immediately responded with Company's tax returns.
What will happen to my case and how long it will take to get it apporved ?
Any guess ??
Any ideas /suggestion is highly appreciated.

Thanks

How many days it takes to get I-140 approval notice?

All,

I need to know how many days it take to get the aproval notice. My lawyer has not yet received the notice. Its been a week now. We were about to file I-485 as a concurrent filing and 1 days before came to know that I-140 approved. We though we will wait till we get the I-140 approval notice so that we can file it as only I-485 as I-140 has been approved now.

Thanks,
